I sometimes think I was born much too late for I find interesting details in my surroundings and can imagine how it must have been in the past when mail was so important it had to be securely locked before being whisked away by the carrier, sworn to get the mail through wind and snow and rain...the mail must get through. Email will never be like this. A very nice card can be printed with this image on the front and it can be sent from one end of the world to the other with a simple forty-something cent stamp. And someone will smile with delight when they see this in their mailbox and laugh with glee when they open it and find it was sent by you:-)
